In mzmine
Searched from inside the workflow.
Both libraries are searched through mzmine's NIST MS Search module, which drives the NIST MS Search program for you. Nothing is exported, and the matches come back into the feature list you are already working in.
Why from us
We build mzmine.
The spectra are NIST's, and they are the same wherever you buy them. What buying them here adds is that the library and the software come from the same team.
- The library and mzmine come from the same people
- One place to ask, whether the question is about the software or the spectra
- One licence covers both libraries
Questions
Before you ask us.
Do I need the NIST MS Search program as well?
Yes. Both libraries are searched through mzmine's NIST MS Search module, and that module works by driving the NIST MS Search program, so it has to be installed on the machine doing the searching.
Which operating system does it need?
Windows, today. NIST publishes the MS Search program for Windows only, and that is currently the route we support for both libraries. Ask us where this stands when you get in touch, because it is the kind of thing that changes.
Is it the same library I would get from anyone else?
Yes. It is NIST's data and NIST's edition. Resellers differ in who supports you afterwards, not in the spectra.
Is there a separate academic price?
No. It is one licence and one set of terms, whoever you are.
What do you need in order to quote?
How many people need it and roughly what you run. That is enough.
