Choosing
Which plan fits your lab?
In practice the decision comes down to three questions.
Are you at a degree-awarding institution?
Then Community is the right answer and it costs nothing. Research institutes, government organisations, CROs and industry all need a commercial plan, including for pure research.
How many people run it?
Plans are sized by team, not by samples or files. Up to three users is CORE, up to five is PLUS, beyond that is PRO. Nobody counts your injections.
What comes off your instruments?
If you need MRM, or UV and ELSD channels correlated with the MS trace, that is PRO. Everything else is covered from CORE upward.

Free for students, teachers and university researchers
mzmine has been open source for twenty years and it stays that way. The Community plan is the full analytical platform, not a trial or a cut-down build; the difference is the licence and the support, not the science.

Why are there no prices on this page?
Because the honest answer depends on your team size, the detectors you run and whether you need IT integration. We would rather quote you accurately than publish a number that turns out to be wrong for your lab. Ask and you will get a figure quickly.
Is the Community plan a trial?
No. It is the full analytical platform with no time limit and no feature gate on the science. What it does not include is commercial use or commercial support.
Does my data ever leave my environment?
No. mzmine runs on your hardware, behind your firewall. There is no upload step and no vendor cloud, which is why central analytics departments in regulated industries can adopt it without a data processing agreement.
Are we charged per sample or per file?
No. Plans are licensed by team size. Whether you process thirty files a month or eight thousand in an afternoon makes no difference to the price.
What happens when the team grows?
You move up to the next plan. We will pro-rate the difference rather than restart the term.

Yes. Every commercial plan includes a 30-day trial, and we will help you build the first workflow rather than leaving you to it.
